Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of Skender Kulenović's poems on the basis of their phonostylistic figures. It's been shown through examples in all three poems (Stojanka majka Knežopoljka, Ševa i Na pravi put sam ti, majko, iziso) that assonances and alliterations, i.e. the sound layer of the poems, necessarily contribute to the semantics of these poems. This paper presents the most expressive assonances and alliterations from these poems.
