The Court Office of the Vlatkovićs

Abstract

This paper treats the relation of a squire order with general cultural trends in the medieval Bosnia and wider surroundings. Many documents were born in the office of Vlatković, from which it is clear that some members of the family were literate. It is possible to reconstruct the family coat of arms on the basis of a small number of preserved seals.
